Gerard, married for over three decades, is a father of six, grandfather to six, and great-grandfather to two. His 22-year tenure with the United States Coast Guard culminated in a notable career specializing in Aids to Navigation, Lighthouses, and Polar Icebreakers.

As the senior electrician, Gerard led the electrical division of the Aids to Navigation Teams in Portland, Coos Bay, OR and Long Island Sound, New Haven, CT. In his role as the Lighthouse Training Technician and Aids to Navigation Team Instructor for the 13th Coast Guard District in Seattle, WA., he became one of last lightkeepers within the Coast Guard. Notably, Gerard was the first enlisted member of the U.S. Coast Guard to reenlist at the geographic North Pole and served on the only Polar icebreaker that patrolled the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans in the same year. His service has been honored with nine service medals, including the esteemed North and South Pole service medals, 12 commemorative medals and seven service ribbons. 

Gerard, now an online marketing entrepreneur, is driven by a fervent passion and determination to earn money online. Following a commendable military career, his initial forays into the digital world were less than ideal, with unsuccessful ventures. He found himself swindled repeatedly, squandering substantial sums on fraudulent projects and misguided advice from self-proclaiming internet experts. Despite these setbacks, Gerard's resilience, self-confidence, discipline and unwavering spirit fueled his persistence.
